What Is Esthec?
Esthec is a strong and solid material that consists of natural components, fibers, color pigments, and fillers, neither plastic nor wood!
It is an innovation based on the yachting industry's need for ecologically sound construction materials. Teak is becoming more and more scarce and very difficult to find in good quality and in compliance with the current regulation which is protecting deforestation.
It is a thermo-set product which does neither contain PVC nor wood different from all the others in the market that are thermo-plast products (with PVC based) meaning that the expansion coefficient of Esthec is extremely low.
This allows the product to be extremely resistant also when there are high thermal excursions. Besides a number of advantages, we developed new “cool” color combinations with excellent results.
This product is perfect, both for new builds and refits, especially if Yachts are used for charter, requiring very low maintenance while assuring the resistance you will never have with any other decking material.
